Pricing

Pricing starts at just $75 for portrait sessions. Pricing is provided by using the "contact us" link above.

Please make sure that you provide all details of your needs in your message request, including date, time, number of subjects, location, etc.

Location

Photographer is available to shoot at any location. However, anywhere outside of a 60 mile radius of the Whitney, TX area may incur a small travel surcharge.

Photographer will not shoot on railroad tracks or in any private/restricted places that would be considered trespassing, unless specific written permission is given to the client/photographer to do so from the property owner.

Some locations, such as certain museums, event centers, or gardens, require an admission fee or "photography fee" in order to be allowed to photograph at the location. The client is responsible for any entry fees, rental fees, or photography fees at their chosen venue.

Payment

Sessions costing less than $100 must be paid in full prior to the shoot.

A 25% deposit or $50 (whichever is greater), is required for sessions priced at $100 or more.

Dates and times will not be guaranteed unless there is a deposit. Photographer and client must choose a mutually-agreeable time and date.

Deposits can be paid with cash, check, credit card, or PayPal.

Final payment is due on/before day of shoot.

Guarantee of Final Product

I highly encourage you to look through my entire portfolio to ensure that my particular style is part of your vision.

Photographs will be professionally edited before being presented to the client. Due to this, unedited/"raw" images will not be given to the client.

In the event that the client is dissatisfied with final product, client will be entitled to one additional edit of images. If the client has specific requests for their final product, such as removing certain skin blemishes or a being at a specific location/lighting for their shoot, they should be discussed with the photographer before the shoot.

Your images will be professionally color-calibrated to ensure true, rich colors when printed by a professional photo printer. I cannot be responsible for how your images look when printed by a cheap "big box store" photo printer, as they do not use the same high quality standards as a professional printer.

Cancellations/Rescheduling

Deposits are non-refundable. If the client is unavailable on their chosen date, the client is allowed one rescheduled date and must provide the photographer with written notice (email) of the date change.

Photographer and client must choose a mutually-agreeable date and time.

If the photographer cannot complete the shoot due to personal catastrophic reasons (equipment failure/theft, severe illness, severe injury, etc.), the full amount paid will be cheerfully refunded immediately to the client.

Image Rights/Copyright (Make sure you read this!)

When a client pays a photographer, they are paying the photographer to take pictures of their likeness, edit their pictures, and then give them a final product that they can display in their own home, show their friends online, or send to family members.

In all cases, the copyright stays with the photographer, since they "made" the photo of you. This is United States Copyright Law, and not just something that "greedy photographers" make up to keep people from "owning" their own pictures.

This means that the client's use of the photographs taken by Silver Tree Images is limited to personal, non-commercial use by the client, unless they have established another agreement with the photographer.

Your final printable photos will be high-resolution with no watermarks on them. I will provide images cropped in 4x6, 5x7, and 8x10 for your usage. Additional photo sizes/crops are available at no cost to you, at your request.

Your online-sized photos will have a small, light-colored tasteful watermark on the bottom of the image (or wherever they will not detract from the picture). The watermarks are not for the photographer's ego, but to keep other people from stealing/claiming the photos as their own work.
